Our History and Leadership
Founded in 1980, CDH built its reputation on quality construction and dependable performance. What began as a small regional contractor has grown into a respected leader in heavy civil and roadway construction.
The company was an early participant in the Michigan Department of Transportation’s DBE, WBE, and MBE programs and remains prequalified with MDOT today. For more than four decades, CDH has delivered projects ranging from municipal infrastructure improvements to multi-million dollar highway initiatives, earning the trust of clients, partners, and agencies through consistent performance and lasting workmanship.
Under the direction of President Mark Rysberg, CDH continues to expand its reach and capabilities while maintaining the same standards of quality that built its foundation. Mark brings a background that bridges construction and law, having represented contractors, developers, and public agencies across Michigan as a construction attorney. His experience gives him a clear understanding of how projects succeed from early coordination through field execution.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction Management and is a Certified Construction Auditor and Certified Construction Control Professional. His leadership reflects CDH’s commitment to precision, quality, and lasting partnerships built on trust..
